Devil’s Third Coming in 2014 for Xbox 360 & PS3

Devil's Third is almost 80% Complete and will launch in 2014 exclusively for the Xbox 360 & the Playstation 3. The game is  a third-person action title from designer Tomonobu Itagaki and Valhalla Game Studios.

Tomonobu Itagaki, the creator of the Dead or Alive series, recently in an interview said that the game is alomost complete and will launch in 2014. Here is the official statement from Itagaki

"Next year will be the year we'll be releasing the console game, Devil's Third," said Itagaki. "At the moment, it is about 80 percent complete, and we can about see the end of it. However, there's still a little more polishing that needs to be done. That's also one of the reasons I've decided to work independently."

Devil's Third currently doesn't have a publisher or a release window in 2014.

The game's backstory is based on the Kesslier syndrome theory Debris from artificial satellites in orbit has created a cascading effect of collisions, leading to the destruction of nearly all satellites, both civilian and military. In the resulting turmoil, war erupts around the world as the balance of military power is thrown into chaos. Infantry battle is altered in a world without satellite technology. It can be seen from concept art that the game will be taking place around the world with Asian, European and American locations.

Devil's Third switched engines during its development, as the company responsible for making its original engine went out of business. Since that time, Valhalla Game Studios have continued development and the Devil's Third have the same game engine as Darksiders 2.

Devil's Third may launch for Tablets as well but the Wii Version has not been confirmed yet.
