National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) Hyderabad invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Scientist, Research Assistant and Field Attendants under the ad hoc research project entitled "Tackling agriculture nutrition disconnect in India – Phase II" funded by the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research. Walk in Interview will be held on 9th September 2014.

Educational Qualifications:
Scientist -C -> Ph.D. (Agricultural disciplines/Nutrition/Sociology/Population Development studies) + Two years experience of carrying out community surveys. Desirable - 3-5 years experience of conducting surveys on agriculture or nutrition.
Research Assistant -> M.A. or M.Sc. in following disciplines: Nutrition/ Home Science/Agricultural disciplines/ Sociology/Anthropology/Economics from recognized University. 2 years experience of conducting surveys on agriculture or nutrition.
Field Attendants -> 10th Class (Matriculation) pass and knowledge of Hindi. Desirable - Minimum one year experience with survey on agriculture or nutrition.
The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a passport-size photograph and one set of photo copies of all certificates duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview. Mark-sheets will not be considered as proof of educational qualification. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. (Non creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective concerned Tehsildar/ M.R.O. specifically issued within past 3 years for the purpose of applying for Central Government post.
