After a brief hiatus, T-Mobile has resumed sales of the ZTE Zmax, this time with instructions for the customer regarding the battery.
T-Mobile had to halt the sales of the ZTE Zmax recently thanks to some customers who had attempted to remove the non-removable battery. After an investigation, which was led by ZTE, it was determined that only a small number of customers made the attempt, and the device was safe to sell. T-Mobile sent out a memo to its staff with instructions to remind customers the battery is not meant to be removed.
Good on T-Mobile for reporting the concern, and ZTE for actively investigating this issue to get the device back on the shelves as soon as possible for customers.
