When you want to share a file with your mobile device, or even another computer, you may use cloud storage to get the job done. While this is a decent solution, it falls short in requiring you to wait for the file to transfer twice (the uploading and the downloading). Additionally, most cloud storage services have a limit on your total space, or even on individual file size that you can share.
Instead, Infinit hopes to become your go-to file transfer service. Their app is available on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. In just a few steps you can share files directly, with no size limit, to yourself or others. Here's how:
Grab a copy of Infinit for your platforms of choice. Its link will detect your platform and download the corresponding application. This example will work with the Windows and Android clients to demonstrate the service.
After installing the app on the source and destination locations, you will need to sign up for an account. This can be done with just a name, email and password, or you can log in with Facebook.
Then, regardless of platform, you'll need to select who you are sending the files to (contacts icon in app, send icon on desktop).

In the app: Tap on the contacts icon along the top, and then locate the person you want to share a file with. Select the necessary files and then tap Next. You'll need to confirm the download on the receiving device.

On desktop: Fill in the details for the person you're sharing files with, then drag and drop or click to select what you're sending. Once again, confirm the transfer.
Infinit will send you an email if someone is trying to share a file with you while you're offline. This setting can be toggled off, too, if you like. And finally, if you just want to share the file with others through a link, the app and desktop version can do that, too.
