Mobile Nations Community Update, March 2016

It's that time again, time for the Mobile Nations Community Update, time for a monthly recap of the best stuff happening around Android Central, Connectedly, CrackBerry, iMore, and Windows Central.

First off, our latest Gems series has come to a close on Windows Central. A huge shout out to our friends at Microsoft for their continued support, and all of our members for their feedback and comments during the series. Another edition is coming up soon, so stay tuned for more!

Second, iMore is hopping now that the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro are available. Lots of happy (and excited) members are eagerly awaiting their new phones and tablets, and we certainly share that anticipation.

Let's get down to the good stuff. The Mobile Nations Community Update for March, 2016 is on... NOW!

Mobile Nations Contests!

We always have great contests underway around Mobile Nations - and we've got some really fun things planned for April (you won't want to miss them). Especially fun right now are the Microsoft Gems sweepstakes underway over at Windows Central. Check them out here but don't delay, as they all end at the end of March. We currently have several other exciting giveaways around Mobile Nations so check them out below and make sure you keep it locked to our contest page for some really cool stuff in the coming month.

Remember, contest details, rules, closing dates and more are found via the links above. Go ahead and check 'em out... and good luck!

Community Spotlights

Plenty of great Galaxy S7 features went up on Android Central this month. If you're looking to upgrade to the Galaxy S7 to from the GS6, we've got a guide for you. If you're packing the Galaxy S5, check out this one. In addition, a best smartphone camera shootout went down. And it was fantastic. It pitted the Galaxy S7 against the iPhone 6s, Nexus 6P, and Lumia 950. Who came out as the winner? Check it out for yourself. If you're looking more towards the future, the Android N forums are hopping... Feel free to jump in.

If you're looking to discover cool new products to enhance your tech-loving lifestyle, keep it locked to Connectedly. This month we saw everything from mini projectors to indoor/outdoor smokers, to smart typewriters and 53-megapixel cameras. Yeah, we're casting a wide net here but these products are awesome. Be sure to check-in on Connectedly on a daily basis for more.

There's still time to win a BlackBerry Priv or Passport, but if you don't like your odds (or simply want to go out and buy one), you can still get 20% off on a BlackBerry Passport right here. In other fun news, BlackBerry is still one of the most visible brands in House of Cards, and Facebook for BlackBerry 10 has been updated.

On iMore it's all about the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The must-read articles from the last few weeks are our reviews of the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro review... and of course the unboxings of the new iPhone and the new iPad. If you're torn on what to buy, you might as well check out our iPhone Buyers Guide and iPad Buyers guide. They have both been updated recently and will make choosing your next Apple phone or tablet a heck of a lot easier.

Over on Windows Central, Daniel and his team are busy covering the Microsoft Build Developer Conference in San Francisco. If you're unfamiliar with the event, it's an annual three-day conference for devs where Microsoft reveals changes to their dev platforms, Azure, and of course Windows. Keep it locked to Windows Central for continued coverage. In other news, our latest #Windows10DoesMore Gems series has wrapped up, and it was a huge success. Again, a huge thanks to our friends at Microsoft for their continued support.

JoMarie (aka Jaydee) has been one of our most frequent and regular posters in the CrackBerry forums for years now. In fact, she posts so much (50 or more posts per day), that we might consider renaming the forums the Jaydee-Berry forums. Well, maybe not, but you get my point. She's prolific.

JoMarie has been with us since 2008, and quickly became a force for good in the forums. Always one to engage in fun banter and warm welcomes, Jaydee is not only a friendly force, but a knowledgable one as well. Deep knowledge of all things BlackBerry can be relied upon, and she's always willing to lend a hand and provide answers to those in need.

There's no doubt the CrackBerry forums are a better place with JoMarie in them. In fact, one might say they're a better place BECAUSE of her.

A huge tip of the cap and THANK YOU to JoMarie from all of us at CrackBerry and Mobile Nations. I know our members (and guests) that frequent the CrackBerry forums appreciate everything you do, and I'm hoping to have you on our side for many, many years to come!

P.S. JoMarie - Now that you're rocking an LG G4 and iPad mini certainly hope to see you around Android Central and iMore from time to time as well :)

Until next time…

If you've made it all the way to the bottom of our update, congratulations! As a small thank you, I invite you to enter to win an iPhone 7. For real. Check it out. Tell your friends. Share it. Do it now!

After you've entered the contest, be sure to jump into some of the most popular community forums for the past month, including the iPhone SE, LG G5, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, BlackBerry Priv, and Lumia 950 XL forums. You'll find our community members ready, eager and willing to help with all of your questions or concerns.

We'll catch you again at the end of April, but until then...

Be awesome,
