Physical Endurance Test / Skill Test:

For Male ->

(1) 1.6 Km run to be completed in 6 Mins. Max Marks-20.
(2) 150 Mtrs race with 45 Kgs load Max Mrks-10.
(3) Chain Ups (Beam) Max Marks-10

For Female ->

(1) 1.2 Km run to be completed in 6.15 Mins. Max Marks-20.
(2) 5 Meter shuttle Max Mrks-10
(3) 100 mtrs race with 25 Kgs load. Max Marks-10

Educational Qualifications & Selection Process:

LDC ->

(1) 10 + 2 or equivalent examination of recognised university/board.
(2) Speed not less than 35 words per minute in typing in English or 30 words per minute in typing in Hindi on computer. (Time allowed - 10 minutes)
(3) Written test will be as per SSC syllabus.

Mazdoor ->

(1) Matriculation or Equivalent examination of recognized University/Board.
(2) Candidates are required to be physically fit to perform strenuous duties of Mazdoor and should pass the following tests:-
(a) Height without Shoes-165 cms (concession of 2.5-cm for ST)
(b) Weight-50 Kgs (Minimum only for male )
(c) Weight-25 Kgs (Minimum only for Female
(d) Running - 1.5 Km run in 6.40 minutes only for male.
(e) Running - 1.5 Km run in 10.40 minutes only for Female.

Tailor ->

(1) Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognised university/board with a certificate in the trade of Tailor from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent diploma or certificate.
(2) Written test will be as per SSC syllabus.

Firemen ->

(1) Matriculation or Equivalent examination of recognized University/Board.
(2) Candidates are required to be physically fit to perform strenuous duties of fireman and should pass the following tests:-
(a) Height without Shoes-165 cms (concession of 2.5-cm for ST)
(b) Chest (un-expanded)-81.5cms(chest on expansion -85 Cms)
(c) Weight-50Kgs (Minimum)
(3) Endurance Test:-
(a) Fireman Lift - Carrying a man of 63.5 Kg to a distance of 183 Mtrs within 96 Seconds.
(b) Long Jump - Clearing 2.7 Mtrs wide ditch landing on both feet.
(c) Vertical Rope - Climbing 3.0 Mtrs vertical rope using hands and feet.
(d) Running - 1.5 Km run in 6 minutes.
(e) Written test will be as per SSC syllabus.

Age Limit: UR - 18 to 25 Years; OBC - 18 to 28 Years; SC/ST - 18 to 30 Years. Age Relaxation as per Rules (Details read official notification).

Place & Scheme of Examination: (HQ 14 CORPS, LEH, LADAKH , J&K). For Mazdoors the written test will be conducted for 40 marks, the physical tests will be conducted for 40 marks and the interview will comprise of 20 marks. For Firemen , written test will be conducted for 40 marks, the physical tests will be conducted for 40 marks and interview for 20 marks. For Tailor post the written test will be of 40 marks, practical trade test will be of 40 marks and interview will be of 20 marks.
