Central University of Kashmir, Srinagar issued employment notification for contractual engagement to the Faculty Teaching Post of Assistant Professor in various subjects. The last date for submission of applications is 7th March 2015.

Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Professor in Convergent Journalism, Economics, Education, English, History, Information Technology, Law, Mathematics, Political Science, Tourism Studies, Urdu ->
(1) Post Graduate in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in the seven-point scale of UGC from a recognized University.
(2) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC including SLET. However, candidates having PhD from a recognized University are exempted from the condition of NET/SLET.
Assistant Professor in Management Studies ->
(1) Post Graduate in Business Management/ Administration or in a relevant management related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (First Class).
(2) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC including SLET. However, candidates having PhD from a recognized University are exempted from the condition of NET/SLET.
Assistant Professor in Teacher Education ->
(1) Post Graduate in Arts/ Humanities/ Science/ Commerce and M.Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) [OR] M.A Education and B.Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
(2) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC including SLET. However, candidates having PhD from a recognized University are exempted from the condition of NET/SLET.
Application Fee: Rs.200 for General and OBC (Rs.100 in case of SC, ST & PWD). The DD should be drawn in favour of Central University of Kashmir payable at Srinagar J&K.
Selection Process: Interview. The interviews shall be held from 11/03/2015 onwards at the Transit Campus of the University.
How To Apply: Completed prescribed application form along with Demand Draft (DD) as application fee may either be delivered personally at the "Recruitment Section, Central University of Kashmir" or sent by post, superscribing on the top left of the cover 'the post applied for', 'advertisement number and date' latest by 07/03/2015 up to 5:00 PM.
