We're already seeing more tablets at Mobile World Congress 2015 than we did at CES 2015 and you can thank Haier for at least three of them. The HaierPad trifecta deliver a trendy skinny aesthetic at a low price in select European markets.
Running Windows 8.1, the HaierPad W800 is an 8-inch tablet that's almost as modest as its €129 price tag. It features an 8-inch IPS HD screen, Intel quad-core processor, and a micro-HDMI port -- still a rare sight these days, despite each new HaierPad packing one. The W800 also comes pre-loaded with a free year of Microsoft Office 365 and, for a small bump in price to €149, an optional cover and keyboard is available.
Then there's the W203, another Windows 8 slate, but this 10-inch model ships with a cover, keyboard, and stylus for €249. The aluminum wrapped tablet houses a quad-core Intel Z3735F CPU, Intel Gen 7 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. It also has a full-size USB 2.0 port, in addition to a microSD card slot that's expandable up to 64GB.
Lastly, there's HaierPad 971, a slim and trim tablet worthy of a spot on the top thinnest and lightest tablets list. The 9.7-inch Android is 7.6mm thin and boasts a 2,048x1,536-pixel resolution screen, 1.8GHz quad-core CPU, 16GB of internal storage, and 2GB of RAM. It too has a micro-HDMI port as well as a microSD card slot, but it's only expandable up to 32GB. It's expected to be available in Europe in April 2015 with a retail price of 249 euros.
