(Credit: LG)LG isn't waiting until next week to tell the world what it has planned for the Consumer Electronics Show.
LG announced on Tuesday three new devices it plans to unveil in full detail at CES, which kicks off next week in Las Vegas. First up is the company's Ultra PC, boasting a 13.3-inch HD display, slimmer design, and support for a solid-state drive. The computer doubles as an e-book reader, thanks to a feature called Reader Mode that lets users "alter the background of any onscreen image to resemble paper."

Aside from that, LG is planning to unveil an improved Tab-Book. Appropriately named Tab-Book2, the device will come with Windows 8.1 and a screen with 10-point touch control. The device comes with an 11.6-inch display and, LG said, will have improved components under the hood, including the Intel Core i5 processor.
Last on the list is the company's 27-inch AIO PC. The product can be an all-in-one PC for those who need that, but can also be used as a monitor or TV, according to LG.
The announcements come just a week before the tech world turns its attention to Las Vegas. LG's decision to announce the details on its new computers early reflects just how hard it is to get nominal upgrades noticed at the show. This year, the industry is expecting big things in the areas of wearable tech and HDTVs. And as always, CNET will be there to cover every last bit of the news coming out of the show.
