HTC has frequently shunned CES in the past, but it looks like things will be a little different in 2015. HTC China has posted a teaser on its Weibo page that hints at a new HTC Desire smartphone that will be unveiled at CES on January 5th. Not much is known about the phone, but @upleaks claims that the HTC A52 is the device which will make its debut next week.
The HTC A52 is rumored to be a new EYE class smartphone from HTC with a 13-megapixel camera on the front, UltraPixel (4 megapixels) camera on the back, a wide selection of color options (Navy Blue/Vivid Blue, Taupe Purple/Tangerine Tango, Terra White/Almond, Terra White/Tangerine Tango) and dual SIM support for markets that include Taiwan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong and China.
While we don't have any specifics regarding the HTC A52′s screen size or processor, we would be surprised the phone didn't come with at least a 5-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. We'll be spending some time with HTC at CES next week, so we'll be sure to get some hands-on time with the new phone.
