ZTE's 30th birthday is just days away, and tonight the company revealed a new logo to go along with that milestone.
ZTE Corporation's new logo is brighter and more rounded than its old one, which ZTE says reflects its new "Cool-Green-Open" philosophy. This'll lead ZTE to be more youthful, dynamic, environmentally responsible, open-minded, and collaborative, the firm says. The new logo also goes along with ZTE's focus on mobile information and communication technologies.
"ZTE is evolving our operations in line with our broader M-ICT vision, which will help us deliver higher value to customers and drive the growth of our business," explained ZTE President and CEO Shi Lirong. "At the heart of the new strategy is the move towards a new company culture. In the coming months, our customers will see the new ZTE through the actions and projects of our employees."
ZTE's been focusing much more on consumers and getting their devices into the public's hands in recent years, and this new logo goes along with that effort by being more "fun" than its old one.
