National Book Trust (NBT) India invites applications from eligible and suitable candidates for recruitment of Programme Assistant on Contractual Basis for NBT Book Promotion Centre (BPC) at Cuttack, Odisha. Eligible persons apply within 21 days from the date of advertisement (dated 29th Dec 2014).

Qualification & Experience:
(a) A degree preferably in Science, Commerce, Arts or Social Science;
(b) Working knowledge of English, Hindi and Odia.
(c) Three years' experience in coordinating events connected to books, art, culture and sale and marketing of books in an organization of repute or a Publishing House.
(d) Working knowledge of computer is must.
(e) Preference will be given to person who has own conveyance.

National Book Trust proposes to fill up one post of Regional Manager on deputation basis from among the officers serving in Central /State Government departments/ Organizations / Corporations etc. initially for a period of one year which will be extended on year to year basis. The present place of posting will be at Eastern Regional Office, Kolkata. The last date for submission of application is 15/01/2015.

Eligibility:

Desirable:
(a) Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration
(b) Managerial experience in publishing / marketing / event management/ literary or book promotional activities.
