North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) Deemed University, Nirjuli (Itanagar) Arunachal Pradesh State invites applications in prescribed format from the citizens of India for filling up the following Teaching (Faculty) Posts in various disciplines on Regular Basis. Minimum Educational Qualification & Experience:
Professor -> Ph.D. with first class in Master's or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of ten years' experience out of which at least 05 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy paper.
Associate Professor -> Ph.D. with first class in Master's or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of eight years' of experience of teaching and/or research at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy paper.
Assistant professor -> Master's with 1st class or equivalent or B.Tech Degree first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch of Engg. with a very good academic record throughout. For Science and Humanities Group, NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition. However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Contractual Appointment at Assistant Professor level -> Master's with 1st class or equivalent or B.Tech Degree first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. For Science and Humanities Group, NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition. However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.

The email application should contain the main application, the API score card, and the summary sheet. The last date of submitting application through email is 20/11/2014. The signed hard copy of the application along with certified copies of all certificates/ documents, two copies of passport size photograph (one should be pasted on the form), and a non-refundable application fee of Rs.200/- for SC/ST and Rs.500/- for others in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, NERIST and payable at SBI Nirjuli (Code No.9535), Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh should reach the Registrar, NERIST, Nirjuli (Itanagar) -791109, Arunachal Pradesh on or before 25/11/2014, in an envelope superscribed with "Application for the post of _______", by Registered/Speed Post.
