After posting two "viral" videos featuring actor James Franco earlier this week, Verizon Wireless has unleashed its full one minute TV ad featuring the man who cannot say "No" to a gig using the just launched Motorola Droid Turbo. A second ad also has a nod to the recent iPhone 6 "Bendgate" controversy.
Franco's commercial shows him trying to retrieve a lady friend's scarf from a high building perch, but while he manages to grab it, he also starts falling to what looks like certain death. No matter; his Droid Turbo is powerful enough to give him the info to avoid splattering on the pavement, and it even shows the phone's quick charge feature from zero to eight hours of battery life in 15 minutes.
The second ad shows the Droid Turbo getting abused in a fictional testing lab, showing how its case and screen are extremely tough. Yes, the video even shows how the phone can resist bending, which will likely make iPhone 6 owners a little jealous. Are these ads effective enough for you to buy the Droid Turbo?
